Feel free to chip in with Searing Melodies that ignite the blood and kindle a human's will to fight!]
As the Transmigration 9 plies the infinite void that some call the Bleed, making it's way through multiple Branes and layers of causality to the universe under attack by an unknown enemy, preparations are made, preparations for what will surely be, however it turns out, a battle of cataclysmic proportions.
Almost nothing is known of the enemy beyond their possessing sufficient strength to throw star systems into chaos across a large range of space...and that effectively, could mean anything.
So Commodore Honor Harrington, with the permission of the Starfighter Command Admiral Vaduum, has reviewed the various Sensorium sim parameters used by previous officers onboard the Trans 9, modified them with her own suite of knowledge gained from her time learning and teaching at Saganami Island Tactical Academy, and added some unpleasant surprises.
Shake, stirred, add some garnishes, and braise gently.
The final Sensorium training sim is designed to simulate the maximum fleet strength of Transmigration 9's Starfighter Command in a pitched space battle in a average solar system with developed infrastructure. The Macross Frontier takes pride of place as the flagship, proud and loomed, with the capability to transform into a giant robot that Harrington still found so confoundingly prevalent among fleet elements.
Joining them are two new ships, deliberately holding their speed back to support the Frontier in cruiser form, a 110 meters long each: The Shrike Class RMN LAC "Hexapuma", and the Cimmetre class RHNS LAC "Zweihander".
Honor currently 'resides' on the cramped bridge of the "Hexapuma", watching the battle begin to unfold as 'enemy' elements break from their attack on the home system to engage the inbound fleet.
Those who join the Sensorium exercise will be inserted directly into the flow of battle.
Now go, and prove to Honor that space mecha actually work remarkably well!
